Missional Theology: The Commission of Confession

Missionary work and deep theological study might seem separate, but Matthew Bennett argues they are two sides of the same coin. Sometimes, mission efforts focus so much on getting quick results that they drift away from sound, accurate teaching. On the other hand, theology can become too abstract and disconnected from real life.

Missional Theology: The Commission of Confession shows how they belong together. He is convinced that true doctrine naturally leads to missions, and missions should always spring from careful theological reflection. Bennett explores all the main areas of Christian teaching (like the nature of God, humanity, or the church) and reveals their direct implications for mission work. This book helps pastors and missionaries stay grounded in the faith while faithfully carrying out the Great Commission.
